Success In Trucking Engagement (SITE) 2024
The SITE took place April 11-12, 2024, at the Lander’s Center in Southaven, MS and was an overall extremely successful event as evidenced from surveys, direct feedback, truck deals, and program enrollment already in the works.
Attendees – There were 60 qualified trucking entrepreneurs that attended the SITE.
Sponsors & Exhibitors – The SITE had two Title Sponsors: Dobbs Peterbilt and Stoops Freightliner, as well as three Spotlighted Motor Carriers: FedEx Custom Critical, Forward Air, and Panther Premium Logistics (a service of ArcBest). Additionally, it featured 11 exhibitors that consisted of service providers to the ES Community.
Keynote Speaker – Eric McElvenny was an engaging keynote speaker. He was an engaging communicator and an expert in teaching resilience and facing life changing challenges. In 2006, Eric graduated the United States Naval Academy while preparing for his service as a Marine Corps Infantry Officer. Eric deployed three times as a Marine and on his final tour, an experience in Afghanistan, was wounded after stepping on an IED. Eric suffered the amputation of his right leg, a life-changing opportunity that began his next journey.
Event App – The ES team chose the Whova event app to help collect interested party information prior to the SITE and create engagement with those that were able to attend. Through Whova, attendees were able to connect with and learn about vendors, network with other attendees, ask questions during panels, and more. ES Community sponsors and vendors were able to collect leads using the app, as well as interact with the attendees. Within the app, the ES Team was able to maintain up-to-date event information, including agendas and logistics, as well as schedule important announcements and post event surveys.
Landing Page – SITE2024.com is the landing page that was used to provide people with information about the event.
