ES Programs & Webinar Series Highlighted During Radio Nemo Interview with ES President Jason Williams

In mid-September, ES President Jason Williams was a guest on the Dave Nemo Radio Show, which is broadcast nationally on SiriusXM’s Road Dog Trucking Radio Channel 146. Jason was part of Radio Nemo’s celebration of National Truck Driver Appreciation Week. The interview with radio legend Dave Nemo provided Jason with the opportunity to share some perspectives as well as the latest news on the comprehensive programs and opportunities ES makes available to professional drivers.

ES sent a request to Radio Nemo to be able to share Jason’s interview with Dave as a special edition of the IN-SITE 2020 Podcast Series. The team at Radio Nemo granted permission to feature the interview replay within the IN-SITE 2020 Podcast format, and ES is thrilled to now share the segment through our Spotlight News Series.

Throughout the interview, listeners to this replay will hear the high level of care and appreciation that Jason and the entire ES Team have for professional drivers and entrepreneurs working to build small businesses in trucking. Listeners of this interview replay will also hear a brief look back at the history of ES as well as perspective on the growth of the ES Community and the development of the IN-SITE 2020 Online Series.

Expediter Services would like to thank Radio Nemo for allowing ES to share this interview through the IN-SITE 2020 Podcast Series. The Dave Nemo Radio Show can be heard weekday mornings from 7:00 to 11:00 Eastern on SiriusXM’s Road Dog Trucking Radio Channel 146.

IN-SITE 2020 September Webinar Now Available:

On September 29, ES presented the third webinar in the IN-SITE 2020 Online Series, and we have made a replay of the live event available to you.

The webinar, entitled Trucking in the COVID-19 Era: Insights From Real Truck Owners, highlighted perspectives from small business owners who have utilized the program offerings from ES to find their success in trucking. In providing the first-hand experience of fleet owners and owner-operators who are part of the ES community, this webinar gives attendees the opportunity to gain insights from people who have combined the programs and support from ES with their own drive and determination to become successful business owners within the trucking industry. This webinar also features perspective from the ES Leadership Team and how ES works to find the best fit for participants in their programs.

As part of the presentation, attendees get to hear how these business owners have adjusted to the challenges presented so far in the COVID-19 era and how ES has stood with them through all kinds of freight environments. Leah Shaver, the President and CEO of the National Transportation Institute, serves as the moderator for the panel discussion. Leah, who also serves as a host on SiriusXM’s Road Dog Trucking Radio Channel 146, leads the panel discussion in the style of a fireside chat, sharing the stories of the business owners on the panel and discussing how they have utilized the resources of the ES Community in working to overcome the obstacles they have encountered in running their businesses.

The Sheltons entered the trucking industry in 2010 and began working with ES as part of the couple’s effort to build a trucking business. In 2011, the Sheltons became fleet owners, operating their own LLC while utilizing the programs and services ES offers to small business owners in trucking. Amy Williams began building her small business through the 150 Business Challenge, the collaboration between ES and the Women In Trucking Association to establish 150 women-owned businesses in transportation. Jacobus Nel became an owner-operator earlier this year, starting his trucking business through the ES Path To Ownership program.
