SmartFund FAQs

Program Basics

1. Who is ES?

ES is a service-based company that specializes in the support of IC’s, Owner Operators and Small Fleet Owners with products and services focused on driving out costs and increasing revenues.

2. What is a SmartFund card?

The SmartFund card is a prefunded card allowing a driver a single card with access to reporting, security, and discounts at participating locations across the US.

3. How will I benefit using a SmartFund card?

The SmartFund card is designed to save you money and time on diesel fuel, shop, and tires, as well as giving you the ability to utilize the MasterCard feature.

4. How do I fund the SmartFund card?

There are multiple options for funding, but the most convenient and easiest is through a credit card. You can find more information on our Funding Page. Your credit card transaction will show as a charge from “PDS*ES SERVICES”.

5. How do I pull reports?

You can access reports through EManager online and on the Card Control App.

6. What happens if I lose my card?

7. What discount programs do you offer?

SmartFund cards and Fleet Owner accounts equally support discounts on diesel fuel, shop, and tires. Please scroll down to find out how each of these programs benefits you!

8. Are the involved Sites secure?

Our funding page uses HTTPS which is Hypertext transfer protocol secure. It is the primary protocol used to send data between a web browser and a website. HTTPS is encrypted in order to increase security of data transfer by making the data transfer unreadable and unmodifiable. Your credit card info is captured and processed by a secure 3rd party credit card processor under contract. We do not store or keep your credit card information at any time.

Fuel

1. How will I know where I can access my diesel fuel discounts?

You can access discounts through the Card Control App using the ‘Price Locator’. You can use your SmartFund card at all EFS locations but will only receive discounts at participating locations. We have nationwide coverage with TA/Petro, Sapp Brothers, Kwik Trip, and more! These locations are all visible on your Card Control App.

2. Where will I see my discounts?

Discounts are point of sale and are applied at the pump. You will have immediate access to view your discounts via EManager Online and the Card Control App.

3. Is there a minimum amount of times I am required to fuel using the SmartFund card?

No.

Shop

1. How will I know where I can access my shop discounts?

We have service discounts set up at Loves or TA/Petro.

2. What discounts do they offer?

Loves offers $40 off on oil changes on the truck and $10 off on APU pm’s.

TA offers $30 off on oil changes on the truck.

3. Do you offer discounts at any other shops?

Not at this time.

Tires

1. How will I know where I can access my tire discounts?

We have tire discounts set up with Goodyear, Loves, and TA/PETRO.

2. What tire discounts do you offer?

– We have a National tire account set up with Goodyear that can be used at all Goodyear Commercial stores. This discount could save as much as $130 per tire off retail. Goodyear store Link: https://www.goodyeartrucktires.com/dealer-locator.html

– Loves offers up to $30 off retail price of any tire they carry.

– TA/PETRO offers $35 off retail price of any tire they carry.

3. Can the Goodyear discount be used at truck stops like Loves or TA?

No.

4. Can you buy multiple tires at once under this account?

Yes.

5. Will I get casing credit for my old tires?

This will be determined by a case by case basis at the shop.

Fleet Owner FAQs

Program Basics

The Fleet Owner has the ability for multiple cards to pull from one prefunded account with access to reporting, security, and discounts at participating locations across the US.

3. How will my company benefit by using the Fleet Owner Account?

The Fleet Owner account is designed to save you money and time on diesel fuel, shop, and tires.

4. How do I fund the account?
