Celebrating Our Nation’s Independence & The Opportunity To Pursue The American Dream
The arrival of the Fourth of July Holiday Weekend serves as a reminder that the freedom and liberty we enjoy as a nation and the ability to pursue the American Dream began with the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.
There is a true historical significance to the celebrations and fireworks that will be taking place across the country. Spotlight News, to commemorate America’s 246th birthday, wanted to get some perspective on what July 4th means to the ES Team and to the ES Community.
Understanding that the doors to the American Dream began to open with the Declaration of Independence that we celebrate each Fourth of July, Spotlight News asked Jeff Tacker to join us for a Success In Trucking Podcast Interview. Jeff serves as the Chief Operating Officer, Chief Commercial Officer and the Executive Vice President for ES.
During his podcast interview, Jeff looks back at the brave actions that our nation’s Founding Fathers took with the Declaration of Independence as well as how the doors of opportunity opened up in America because of those first steps in 1776. Jeff also takes time during the podcast to share some words of wisdom from the author who first coined the phrase the American Dream.
Through this edition of the Success In Trucking Podcast, Spotlight News marked the occasion of commemorating the Fourth of July to ask Jeff about the work that the ES Team does each day in assisting members of the ES Community to realize their goal of becoming independent within the trucking industry and launching a business in the pursuit of their own American Dream.

You have a lot of guts and a lot of nerve, and you have to have a lot of independence to get on a truck and go across the country and stay out there.
“It’s both rewarding and exciting for our team at ES to be able help the members of the ES Community in their efforts to achieve success in trucking and do what they want to do to go after their American Dream.”
