Once Dreaming Of Driving A Truck, Lisa Fagin Now Owns A Small Trucking Company
In this episode of the podcast, we are launching a special series honoring a milestone for the ES Community. In 2017, Expediter Services began working with the Women In Trucking Association on an initiative to promote the creation of women-owned businesses in the trucking industry. Earlier this year, this collaborative program led by ES reached the milestone of creating 300 women-owned businesses in the trucking industry. Through this series, we will be sharing the recent interviews that we have done with a few of the women business owners in the ES Community. Each of these very accomplished professionals have utilized the programs, services and support available from ES in building their respective trucking businesses.
To start off our series, we will meet Lisa Fagin, who is part of the Forward Air fleet. As you will hear in this interview, owning a truck and running her own business has taken Lisa far beyond the dream she had when she was a little girl when she watched her father work as a professional driver.
