“Over the past couple of years, we have worked to make our IN-SITE Webinar Series a strong platform for discussing the latest trends within the trucking industry as well as the place where our ES Team and our ES Community members can highlight the innovative solutions that we are bringing to the market,” said Jason Williams, the Co-Founder & CEO of Expediter Services. “We have really enjoyed working with Panther Premium Logistics during the past year to collaborate on the development of a non-traditional lease-purchase program that has helped Panther grow its non-asset capacity while also providing great opportunities for professional drivers to start their own small trucking business or to grow an existing small fleet.
“It’s been exciting to see the momentum being built by this program, and our team at ES is thrilled to continue to work with the Panther team in our collaborative efforts to expand and grow opportunities for truck ownership and small business formation within the trucking industry,” Williams added. “Our November 15th IN-SITE webinar will actually serve as the start of a miniseries of webinar events that will explore the various aspects of this program with Panther. Through this series and our other IN-SITE presentations, we firmly believe that you will see that we have a strong and supportive community that is focused on helping people achieve success in trucking.”
The panel for this edition of the IN-SITE 2022 Webinar Series will feature two of the key people overseeing the recruiting process at Panther Premium Logistics. Frank Tufano, the company’s Director of Owner-Operator Recruiting, and Cory Robertson, Driver Recruiting Manager, will be sharing perspective on the state of the industry and opportunities with Panther.
ES will also have two members of the company’s management team as part of the webinar’s expert panel. David Withers, Senior Director of Operations & Recruiting for ES, and Danny Vernon, the Director of Truck Sales & Finance at ES, will be part of the conversation during this webinar. In addition to discussing the strong working relationship between ES and Panther as well as how this non-traditional lease-to-own program has performed and grown during the past year, the panelists will also explore other topics, including the current conditions for purchasing trucks and starting a trucking business in today’s market.
This edition of the IN-SITE 2022 Webinar Series will be moderated by Leah Shaver, the President and CEO of the National Transportation Institute (NTI). Founded in 1995, NTI has earned the reputation as a leader in the trucking industry for tracking company driver and owner-operator compensation history, changes and benchmarks. Leah, who also serves as a host on SiriusXM’s Road Dog Trucking Radio Channel 146, is one of the foremost experts in the trucking industry on topics related to compensation, driver recruiting and driver retention.
