Counting Down To The Expedite Expo… Taking the Stress Out of the Initial Financing Conversations
As we continue our countdown to the 20th anniversary edition of the Expedite Expo in mid-July, the team at Expediter Services is working to cover all the bases for anyone interested in attending this in-person event where you can explore the truck ownership opportunities offered through ES.
In previous Spotlight News articles, we have noted that ES will have two exhibit booths set up at the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Conference Center in Fort Wayne, Ind. – the site of this year’s Expedite Expo, which will be held July 16-17. One of those booths will be dedicated to featuring trucks available from ES, while the main ES booth at the Expo will be a focal point at the event, serving as a meet-and-greet space where visitors can discuss the program offerings available through ES.
Visitors to the Expedite Expo will have an opportunity to meet Steve Kochensparger, who works with the finance team at Expediter Services. Steve has been working with owner-operators in the area of truck financing for more than 20 years now, and he has been part of the ES Community for the past decade.
Part of Steve’s role at the Expo is to assist in the conversations related to becoming a truck owner and starting a trucking business. With his years of experience in the field of truck financing, Steve works with the ES Team to begin the discussions related to financing and planning for the road ahead. While those first meetings in the main ES Expo booth can become the beginning of more detailed conversations and eventually an application for financing through ES, Steve understands the importance of helping to make it easy for someone to talk about obtaining credit history and their career in trucking.

“Anytime you start talking about financing and begin to look at someone’s credit profile which is part of the process when you are talking about buying a truck, I know that can be stressful for some people,” said Steve. “That’s one of the great things about being able to see people face to face at the Expo. We really work hard to take the stress out of financing conversations. We’re able to sit down and explain to them that financing through ES looks at the whole person – their attitude, aptitude and work history. We’re able to really get to know people through this process, and the initial conversations we have at the Expo can become the start of that process.”

Taking place on Friday, July 16, the IN-SITE Dinner at the Expo offers a unique opportunity for all current and prospective qualified contractors attending the Expo. This special IN-SITE event from ES begins with the doors opening at 4:30 p.m. and dinner being served beginning at 5:00 in Banquet Room B inside the Allen County War Memorial Coliseum Conference Center. Courtesy of ES, the IN-SITE at the Expo Dinner is free to all attendees of the event, and the ES Team has planned a terrific menu for the meal.
The IN-SITE event at the Expo provides attendees with an informal setting where they can get to know members of the ES team, hear informative updates on the latest trends in trucking while getting an introduction to the programs available through ES.
